PRODUCT CARE

Caring for your furniture is important. Make sure you follow the simple steps to keep your Sustainable furniture clean and maintained.

• Indoor and undercover outdoor use only, do not leave in weather (Hot sun/Rain)
• Wipe over regularly with clean cloth, damp if needed, eliminating dust, allow the rattan to dry completely.
• Rattan is lightweight, we do not recommend sitting very heavy objects or TVs on top of cabinet and sideboards.
• Always use coasters for drinks on Rattan or Teak wood.
• Enjoy your beautifully handmade furniture and decor!

Please be mindful that Rattan is an ethically sourced and renewable plant that is 100% natural, Our cabinets are all crafted by hand, by our talented artisans in Indonesia, Every individual piece Oak Studios sells is unique in its own form being that the colour may slightly differ from one to another, natural markings and the natural shape being that rattan is not 100% straight to begin with, This may be seen in the frame, slight gaps and cabinet drawers may be tighter then others, some drawers will require a small amount of time to wear in.

SALE PERIODS

All sale period items are FINAL SALE. No refunds, unless item is faulty.
PLEASE READ INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE CONTACTING OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM.
• Allow between 1-5 business days for your order to be processed due to high order volumes.
• If wrong items are ordered during sale periods we can not take responsibility for changing the order before delivery of order. This is due to high volumes of orders/emails during sale periods.
• If your order is shipped before your customer service email is checked it is the customers responsibility to return the incorrect items purchased.
• Once a sale order is placed we can not add or remove items to or from the current placed order. A new order will have to be placed for additional items & items not wanted will have to be returned.
• Sale discounts can not be redeemed outside the advertised sale dates & times.
If orders are placed before or after the sale times we can not reimburse you for the sale difference.



PREORDER PURCHASES

PLEASE CHECK YOUR CART ITEMS CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING TO THE CHECK OUT PAGE.

• We do not give refunds for pre-ordered items, Each item is specifically made and reserved to each customer, pre-orders can be exchanged or refunded in form of credit note only.

• Pre-orders can take up to 12-16 weeks to arrive. By purchasing a preorder the customer understand this waiting period. From time to time there may be some shipping delays in which we update customers straight away via newsletter email and updates status page.

Customer preorder updates are communicated through Instagram, Facebook, Newsletter email (Sign up form on home page) and via our updates page on website. We clearly communicate updates and take no responsibility if customers do not check all 4 avenues of update communication. Due to high volumes of customer preorders, we DO NOT individually email every customer updates as it is impossible.

• We understand that pre-orders can be a timely process, We are a slow made business, Ethically handmade and shipped rattan that can take time, with the worldwide pandamic, shipping and manufacturing have greatly effected transit times. We ask that you are respectful when contacting us. We do not recommend pre-ordering if you aren't able to patiently wait for an order.

Local Delivery

• Oak Studios offers Local Delivery for all orders over $300.

• We have a 50kms radius for local deliveries (From Tweed Coast Northern NSW to North Gold Coast QLD)

• Our Delivery service runs one day a week and is an ATL service (Authority to leave in safe place)

• We will contact customers prior to delivery but cannot cater to certain delivery time frames (We do not deliver before 9am and after 4pm) Delivery days are
between 9am-4pm on a weekday and in some cases a weekend day.)

• Please note our deliveries are a drop off service only, Due to insurance our deliveries will be not include unpackaging product for customer as well as carrying furniture or product inside or upstairs.

• For Returns of pick up orders, it is the customers responsibility to return parcel, we do not offer pick up for returns or exchanges.

We do not offer Local Pick up. As a small business we rely on customers just as much as customers rely on us, We have had Local pick up available numerous times but after customers not following the pick up procedure we do not longer offer this service.
